August 2012 Media Center Updates

Greetings Students, I hope everyone had a restful summer. We are back in stride in the media center. I have a new assistant in the media center and she is wonderful. Ms. Hogue comes from Maynard Jackson High School. She has worked as a media paraprofessional for more than 20 years. She is very knowledgeable and a pleasant addition to the media center. It is my hope that you are ready to read! Book checkout has begun and new titles await you in the media center. Please make sure you visit the media center to check out these new titles. The 25 Book Challenge is back and information will be distributed by September 14, 2012. I have exciting news for this school year. Bunche Middle School will have a Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl team. If you are interested in participating, please see me by 9/10/12. There is a list of titles that you MUST read in order to be a member of the team. Keep Reading!!
